Nature of the service
The site provides a free Unicode discovery and copy utility. It does not guarantee that every character, translation, name, category, search result or code point is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
Permitted use and user responsibility
You may use copied characters for lawful personal or commercial text use. You are solely responsible for checking whether your intended use complies with applicable laws, platform rules, contracts, intellectual-property rights, naming rules and technical requirements.
Rendering and compatibility
Fonts, Emoji artwork, shaping and rendering differ between operating systems, browsers, applications and devices. A character may appear differently, appear as a box, be replaced, be unsupported or be interpreted differently after copying.
Names, translations and data
Unicode names, localized names, descriptions, categories and search aliases are provided for convenience. Localized wording may be abbreviated, generated, standardized or interpretive and must not be treated as an authoritative legal, linguistic, geographic, political or technical designation.
Intellectual property
Unicode data is used under its applicable license. Third-party names, logos, trademarks and Emoji designs remain the property of their respective owners. The availability of a character does not grant permission to use a trademark, logo, protected design or other third-party right.
Third-party advertisements and links
The site may display advertisements, scripts, frames or links supplied by Google or other third parties. Their content, availability, security, products, claims, data practices and transactions are controlled by those third parties. Displaying an advertisement or link does not constitute endorsement.

Nothing on the site constitutes legal, financial, medical, tax, compliance, security or other professional advice. Obtain qualified professional advice before relying on information for a regulated, contractual or high-risk purpose.
Availability and changes
The site, its data, functions, URLs and advertising arrangements may be changed, suspended, restricted or discontinued at any time. No particular level of uptime, storage, compatibility, search ranking or continued availability is promised.
